Looks like MapQuest has beat Google to the punch in adding free navigation to the iPhone.
Basic Voice Guidance is now available with the latest update for MapQuest 4 Mobile iPhone app. MapQuest 4 Mobile now has turn-by-turn voice directions getting you where you want to go without having to even look down at the iPhone.
It’s not a full fledge navigation app like TomTom or other paid services but it will get the job done for Free.
